🌾 About Lazy Z Ranch Wines
Lazy Z Ranch Wines is an Oregon ranch meadery built around a simple, grounded idea: healthy soil → healthy plants → healthy bees → healthy humans → healthy community → healthy planet.
Their bottles are “ranch wines”—small-batch ferments that aim to capture distinctly Oregon stories of climate, soil, terrain, and tradition in every pour.
🍯 Who’s Behind the Mead
Lazy Z is led by Renee and John Herman. Renee brings the heart—equal parts community-builder and ranch-life enthusiast—while John is the boots-on-the-ground ranch wrangler + meadmaker (and, officially, their “Wine Wizard / Bee Whisperer”).
Their mead starts with regenerative practices on the land: biodiverse pollinator habitat, honey bees, and a system designed for long-term health. The honey (and the mead that follows) comes from that abundance.
